Making a difference in your Community

Areaganeng Primary School is located in Mafikeng in a small village of Lonely Park, North West Province. It has about 671 students, 15 educators, three heads of department, a deputy Principal and a principal.

The school started in 1996 and has been operating under unbearable environmet, due to lack of resources , Innsuficiet number of classrooms. each educator manages 60+ students in a small class room. some factors also includes the effect of poverty, that has stricken most of the students and their background. Existing clasrooms are also not in a good condition, some lack windows, desks and chairs. With all the odds and challenges that the school is facing, however teachers are still working under this conditions and decated into bringing the best out of their students.

Areaganeng Primary school is one of those schools in a poverty stricken village that is isolated by many and not recognised in the socety. In 2007 i began to have the Heart for Areaganing and the children around the community who are hungry for an education to better themselves, a lot of them go through great measures of sacrifice with a smile on thir face, Just to see themselves walking to with a large crew of other village children to school.
